I am currently working for Eversource Energy in our Transmission Development Program. This 12-month program provides me with training and experience working in all areas of the transmission business such as: Project Management, Siting & Project Services, ISO Policy, Project Controls, and Offshore Wind Development. This is a great opportunity for me for both career development and to gain a variety of hands-on work experience. In this role, I assist with handling day to day transmission business operations including transmission projects in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I work closely with personnel throughout Eversource to learn various aspects of the transmission project lifecycle from conception to construction. I am so excited to be a part of the diverse, talented and dedicated team at Eversource and look forward to safely delivering power to our 4.4 million customers!!Also, I am currently working towards my Masters of Science in Power Systems Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and hope to graduate by the fall of 2024. This program combines topics in power systems engineering with technology-focused business courses, preparing graduates for careers in engineering management within the power industry. In 2022, I graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Energy Systems Engineering, an ABET-accredited program, which prepares students for a career in the fast-growing energy industry. Energy Systems Engineering has given me the skills to design, plan, and install complex systems and equipment needed to generate and distribute power. This program covered the mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines of engineering with a concentration on energy, engineering of conventional and renewable energy systems, and sustainability. I am excited at the opportunity to contribute to the aggressive climate change goals set forth by the federal government. I will bring an unmatched work ethic, high energy, and optimism to any corporation out there looking for a high potential employee who can get the job done. I am a team player who has worked with diverse groups of people in a vast array of settings. I worked as Assistant Harbormaster for the Town of Harwich for three years. In the field of energy distribution, I was a returning intern at Eversource Energy before being hired full time. I am a licensed 25 Ton Captain and hold my OSHA 10 Card. I am a member of the Harwich Zoning Board of Appeals. In my free time, I enjoy operating the Fishing Vessel Intimidator, although I rarely catch fish.
