Support 27 US offices in the development of safety and security issues, emergency response plans and development of a security focal point at each office. Handle all security incidents reported across the US and develop effective and consistent response protocol. Support leadership in managing crisis events and perform critical threat analysis, implement mitigation strategy and provide guidance to the field as needed.

Global security executive team member responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, implement mitigation strategies and oversee security programs for 30+ countries.• Took over security operations for high-growth India practice in 2011. Scope grew from 8,000 employees in 2 cities to 23,000+ employees in 4 cities with $3M+ budget. Built 60+ detailed security process maps and automated SharePoint knowledge management system. Realized >$500K in cost savings in current fiscal year. • Acquired responsibility for India business continuity program in 2011 and achieved ISO 23001 country wide certification, passed recertification audit after completing 60+ business continuity programs, 140+ testing programs, live table top exercises in 4 cities and complex documentation.• Teamed with HR to create women’s safety programs in India; my team trained Indian law enforcement agencies on effective programs and techniques to improve safety of women.• Member of Emerging Markets leadership team which developed innovative security review process for proposals at high-risk locations. Led global security department for $3B public corporation protecting 15,000 employees in 80 countries with 2,000 daily travelers. Developed, implemented and directed physical security, IT security, CCTV, and other programs under a corporate strategic plan with primary focus on prevention, risk management and risk mitigation to protect people and assets in a strategic, scalable and cost effective manner. • Developed, implemented and managed global investigations program for compliance to corporate ethics, Standards of Business Conduct and US/International Laws (FCPA). Unit conducted 500+ internal investigations, recovered/prevented loss of over $5M in 2008, with average turn-around time of 5 business days.• Developed a program that includes pre-deployment training, travel tracker protocol, 24/7 hotlines, emergency evacuation in high-risk locations such as Afghanistan and Iraq. • Reengineered North American background investigation program conducting 5,000 annual investigations resulting in $200K cost savings, 70% reduction in turnaround time and a consistent adjudication of adverse information.• Coordinated investigation of misconduct investigations worldwide, including insider threats; fraud; theft: workplace violence.• Developed and conducted security training sessions for executive leadership and staff. Directed operations for the selection, supervision, evaluation, budgeting and management of proprietary and contract security forces at facilities throughout the US.• Helped establish automated incident management and reporting process for nationwide facility security issues while managing a Central Station responsible for DoD Cleared facilities across the US.• Researched, developed and implemented background investigation process, workplace violence program, and corporate firearms policy; led creation and management of corporate policies under ISO 9000 guidelines.• Conducted complex internal investigations for legal department and human resources; created controls which reduced company-wide theft losses by more than 70% in three years

Operational commander directing over 120 law enforcement officers, civilian employees and volunteers at the District Station level responsible to serve the diverse needs of up to 170,000 residents at several different Police Districts within Fairfax County. Implemented many new programs that were later adopted country wide.• Created School Resource Office Program that was later adopted across the county and still serves as model for other jurisdictions.• Created and implemented emergency response plans to a variety of issues impacting citizen safety such as the Lorton Prison Escape Emergency Response Plan.• Developed, recruited, trained and implemented the first sworn Police Auxiliary class, a critical volunteer program providing tens of thousands of hours of support each year continuing to make a major contribution to the citizens of Fairfax.
