I began working for HydroGeoLogic, Inc. (HGL) in Phoenix, Arizona as an Assistant Research Analyst in October 2011. I assisted the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) and Arizona Attorney General's Office (AGO) with litigation support and environmental forensics/regulatory compliance primarily through research and report writing. The research for these reports was collected in multiple ways, including: reviewing and collecting relevant documents from state and local agencies, conducting title searches, performing corporate and financial research on both businesses and individuals, interpreting aerial photography, searching databases such as Lexis, Accurint, and Westlaw, and conducting interviews. For the collection of much of the research information, I was certified as a Arizona Private Investigator in 2012. Additionally, I provided community relations support and document management (through the creation and management of litigation support databases) for the ADEQ, AGO, and the Army Corps of Engineers (ACE). I was able to develop and maintain relationships and communication with state and local agencies in order to facilitate the collection of records.After two years of employment, I was promoted to Associate Research Analyst. In addition, I began training new staff, leading research on multiple ADEQ/AGO projects, and authoring several case briefs, community involvement plans, and Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund Registry site reports used in litigation and settlement negotiations. Additionally, I assisted in managing project budgets and ensuring deliverables were issued according to schedule.From September to October 2014, I conducted research in Alaska for the ACE on the history and environmental impact of former military installations. I collected documents and conducted interviews in Anchorage, Juneau, and Sitka. Additionally, I conducted site investigations at Northway, Port Heiden, and Sitka.
