Responsible for supporting, designing, and implementing products in R&D. I work directly with our data scientists, ML engineers, and business partners to technically support the research and analytics efforts in Personal Insurance. This includes representing and advocating for our ~100 users across the enterprise.

Working as a data scientist and engineer in the Personal Insurance Research and Development department. I work with our business partners, data scientists, and engineers to figure out how to create business value from the most recent developments in technology and AI research. I focus on building out and our data practices and tooling, AI application design, and advancing our speed of research using distributed cloud computing. Directly responsible for software architecture, data engineering, and solution implementation for the work in the applied research portfolio which includes all of our imagery and NLP products.

Working for Personal Insurance Architecture space but worked exclusively at the Travelers Innovation Center figuring out how to apply the latest machine learning techniques and blockchain technologies for use cases across the enterprise. From building AIs to help account executives upsell on their business policies, augmenting legal decision making processes, and proving out the uses for blockchain networks

I work in the Architecture group in Travelers Personal Insurance line of business.My projects so far include solving for, designing, and implementing an innovative artificial intelligence classification application to automate a sizable portion of Travelers current business process using deep learning neural nets and the latest machine learning techniques. My work includes laying out part of the architectural framework for future AI deployments.Implementing a vendor solution to provide more granularity in Travelers digital marketing and potential customer data to optimize advertising effectiveness through mass telephone number deployments.Develop, with a small team, an innovative application to fundamentally update and streamline the home inspection process.

During my internship, I was solely responsible for the front-end development of a web app pilot project. The app is designed to accept different customer ID queries like names, ID numbers, or addresses and return a timeline view containing the details of every logged interaction between a client and Travelers.I developed the app using the MEAN stack, but I primarily use NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, and Bootstrap.My work was presented to many executives at Travelers including the CIO of Travelers which lead to funding of the project. This project solves the critical business problem of retrieving user data stored across multiple platforms, plus it is among the first uses of MongoDB at Travelers.
