Effectively managed various facilities and manufacturing engineering process improvement projects involving cross-functional teams• Lead a workspace relocation project that involved relocating 138 employees to new office locations around the Textron Systems campus in Hunt Valley, Maryland to create an office layout that promoted collaboration and communication amongst the various departments within the building in a more efficient manner.• Standardized and outsourced the printing services that were initially provided inhouse allowing the reprographics department to relocate to a space that was 1050.62sqft less than the previous location thus providing more space for other value adding departments to expand.

Over the course of this 2 year program, I was able to gain experience in three different roles while being able to live in three different parts of the United States. The Leadership Development Program at Textron allowed me the opportunity to join the ME Support team at Bell, the Continuous Improvement team at Arctic Cat, and the Facilities/Industrial Engineering team at Textron Systems. All three of these 8 month rotations allowed me to build valuable skills and meet wonderful people at the same time. I am very thankful to Textron for the opportunity.

Lead and managed various process improvement and health and safety projects to optimize production efficiency and worker safety using data gathered on the production floor and across the facility• Reduced waste in the engine assembly process by collecting and analyzing data on cycle times for each work element and used that data to reduce the headcount by 30% to the optimal number of assemblers while redistributing excess work to other areas in need.• Conducted 5S and Safety audits to ensure that each area of the plant was in accordance with company standards by providing the safest and most efficient workspaces possible.

Prioritized efforts to upload, clean, and standardize data regarding all tools and tool crib locations across various plants into a new software data base system for accurate inventory management records• Provided technical assistance to employees for software such as CribMaster and Zoller in an efficient manner to reduce downtime by 50%.• Improved data integrity in Zoller by reducing the database by approximately 500 data points through identifying and eliminating unnecessary or outdated information within the system.
