I have thirty-five years of experience in Information Technology.For the last 22 years I have dedicated my life to creating and supporting the number one motion picture box office tracking system in the world. We currently track the box office at approximately 6,000 theaters in North America and approximately 30,000 theaters around the world.Starting out as a software developer in the infancy of the project, I shifted to project lead, then on to project manager. I was asked to move from the technical side of the business to the business side of the business and became the customer facing Director of Theatrical Technical Support Worldwide. In that position I have been the technical face of our group in all interactions with film studios--many with films you've watched over and over, and many with films you may never have heard of; and film exhibitors--from the largest in the world to single screen mom and pops.Key Highlights* Helped move the Theatrical project from reporting on several hundred theaters in the United States and Canada to reporting on tens of thousands of theaters across the globe* Managed a 24/7/365 team of dedicated technologists to ensure that our systems maintained both promised up times, and data integrity.* Managed the infrastructure (100s of servers and network devices) used to deliver our products to our customers. * Helped spearhead the availability of theatrical data via API providing the film industry with up-to-the-minute data from our systems.
