I founded, developed and managed this business which consisted of marketing and exporting motorcycles that were available in the United States but scare overseas. Countries targeted included Japan, Australia, Germany, The Netherlands, and The UK. Originally target audiences were import companies located in host countries. These import companies were then bypassed and the products were marketed directly to motorcycle shops and the end consumer in the respective host country.I handled all aspects of this enterprise including marketing research, marketing in target countries, acquisition of customers, contracting with freight forwarding companies, loading shipping containers, preparing product for export so as to meet US Custom export and host country import regulations, arranging with banks for letters of credit, and negotiating sales terms with end customers. In the late 1990's, through this business, I began to provide services in the area of online marketing. Specifically, I obtained my first client through which we established a digital foothold via eBay, websites and eCommerce involving the power-sports industry. Through word of mouth, I obtained several other clients with whom I provided online marketing services. These marketing services included website development and management, search engine optimization and searching engine marketing, analytics setup and management and more. In 2007 I formed Peak Ecommerce under which these services are now provided. In 2002 the export side of The ESETC group was phased out so that it could focus on providing online marketing services.
