I am Principal and the CEO at MLG Capital, a commercial real estate investment company. I'm also on the investment committee for MLG Capital. Our clients are typically those looking for alternatives to the stock market, & interested in real estate investing; our company helps them invest in smart commercial & multi-family properties.MLG Capital is unique. Our strategies and structures were changed for the benefit our investors following the economic downfall in 2008-2010. To navigate successfully through the downturn & to come out with a greatly enhanced strategy for our private equity investment firm was the most exciting time in my career.As CEO, I am involved with daily, integral functions of the investment and development segments, including long-term and short-term business strategies, innovative concepts to debt financing, & complex partnership structures. Outside of MLG Capital, I’m also very passionate about the nonprofit Lifesong for Orphans, which provides orphan care for over 6,000 children and financial assistance for adoptions. My wife and I started a nonprofit in 2005 that merged with Lifesong for Orphans in 2009, & I’ve been on the board there ever since. We have a number of large, impactful, holistic programs across the world with the goal of orphan care that encourage entrepreneurial spirit & create jobs, while helping kids to grow physically, socially, spiritually and intellectually.Personally, I’m an avid golfer, I love to ski, and I’m an active family guy. Sitting still is not my forte! I love my crazy family life with 8 children (4 naturally born and 4 adopted) and my awesome wife.
