    The Grand Prize Winning Team (GEBCO-NF Alumni) was an international group of volunteers composed of alumni of the Nippon Foundation/GEBCO Ocean Bathymetry Training Program at University of New Hamsphire, and ocean technology industry experts. By combining existing state-of-the-art ocean floor mapping technology with new innovations in autonomous unmanned surface vehicle technology and Cloud based data processing, the team was able to rise to the difficult challenges posed by XPRIZE.Mapping over 500 sq. km in over 4000 meters of water depth off the coast of Greece, GEBCO-NF Alumni prevailed over 32 other competing teams to win the Grand Prize of $4 million. The team has now joined forces with mapthegaps.org to create an NGO focused on promoting bathymetry missions, data processing and promoting awareness about the need to map our oceans and large water bodies. Sponsored by The Nippon Foundation, who are also supporting the global initiative, Seabed 2030, to fully map the ocean floor by 2030, the GEBCO-NF Alumni team directly supports the Seabed 2030 effort.

Working directly with foreign and domestic investors, the board of directors and advisors, I was responsible for leading the company to an acquisition and exit before the capital ran out.

ClipCard gave users direct view, via a single intuitive app, of every relevant information source they are entitled to access, regardless of data format or location. ClipCard helped organizations big and small connect people and information everywhere by focusing important data into a single summary.As VP of Consulting Services at OneOcean/ClipCard, I was responsible for helping organizations derive more value from their data by communicating the value of ClipCard. By listening to their workflows, my team was able to understand their information choke-points and map how ClipCard could help them gain insights through content they already have. I also established partnerships with companies who were critical to the early phases of ClipCard.
