Embarking on a journey, not knowing where it ends and having to adapt yourself along the way, is probably one of the most rewarding and fulfilling activities one can undertake. Ever since graduating from flight school during tough market conditions, I’ve challenged myself to find new routes of personal and professional growth. Teaching and supervising students, thereby facilitating their own personal route to growth is even more rewarding and a humbling experience too. I thoroughly enjoy breaking down complex matter to its most elementary constituents to convey a message, whether that be in a teaching or research context. Carefully navigating the boundary of the unknown and yet being able to deliver results is something I strive for.The unique combination of teaching and doing research while obtaining my PhD, has, in the proverbial sense, stimulated me to become a jack of all trades, and even a master in some!
