Team lead for 2 separate disciplines concurrently, across a 2 year, multi-release program responsible for the successful design, build, and implementation of Oracle ERP software for all of Electric Boat's Planning, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Supplier Quality and Receiving organizations. Phase 1 released into production in January 2021, Phase 2 releases in April 2022. Required regular interactions with EB CIO and Directors of Supply Chain. The project supports a 250% growth in supply chain activity, modernization of 40 year old legacy procurement software, and the increase in production on Virginia and Columbia US Naval submarines. Affecting over 3,000 internal EB users, and 4,000 external EB suppliers, this was one of the largest process improvement projects in EB’s history, in terms of scope and affected users, and risk to submarine build cost and schedule. Leading a 6 person, cross-organization test team responsible for the creation and execution of 1,374 scripts, and resolution of 338 tickets, using over 50 testers to ensure 100% quality of the R3 solution and on-time delivery into production environment. Successful launch of this phase of Oracle software (release in April 2022) ensures that all Supplier Quality and Receiving functions at EB integrate properly into the existing software used by Planning, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable. In addition to above, leading a 4 person team during the design, build, test, and implementation of 113 custom Oracle responsibilities to ensure proper Governance, Risk, Compliance; Separation of Duties; and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements were met. 100% solution quality and on-time delivery of these responsibilities allowed over 3,000 internal EB users and over 4,000 critical EB suppliers to seamlessly continue all planning, procurement, and finance efforts in the shipyard, supporting the on-time and at-cost delivery of US Naval submarines, and zero findings in the critical Government, Corporate, and 3rd party audits in 2021.
