Since 2007, Tim Owings, writer and motivational speaker, has crafted his advisory practice focused both on his clients' life stories and his own. A husband, father and grandfather, concert pianist and author, he finds his passion in sharing insights into human nature that can and do transform lives and relationships.Prior to becoming a finqncial professional, he had a 25 year pastoral ministry serving congregations in Kentucky, North Carolina, Alabama, and First Baptist Church of Augusta, Georgia where he was senior pastor from 1990 - 2003. Retired from Morgan Stanley the end of June 2021 Tim is now under contract with Hartford Funds to develop practice management materials based on his book, Cadence of Care: Imagining a Transformed Advisor-Client Experience. A native of Miami, Florida, Tim is a cum laude graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, and holds Master of Divinity and Ph.D. degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY. Tim also holds the CFP® designation.Tim and his wife, Kathie, reside in Asheville, NC. They are the proud parents of three adult children: Nathan, Justin, and Lindsey and five grandchildren.
