As a Youth Pastor at a new church, I developed a middle school and high school program from the ground up that involved training adult volunteers, working within a budget, and designing curriculum. I planned events, counseled with families, and developed positive relationships with community organizations that resulted in successful partnerships and service projects that provided real benefit. Designed and led small group communities where teenagers connected with peers and mentors. I also gained valuable experience in public communication in both large and small group settings. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:Facilitated student ministries department growth from 0 to 60 teenagers, led by over a dozen volunteer leaders. Developed a local, interdenominational network of youth workers in Spokane, WA connecting over 75 leaders from community and church organizations throughout the Northwest. Developed successful growth strategies for NCF that increased regular Sunday morning attendance from 100 to 350 active participants.Trained volunteers to take over my job when I left. NCF hired 3 of the part time volunteers to take over my areas of responsibility. Programs ran smoothly when I left.

As a Youth Pastor at Living Hope I led the high school program, directed activities for elementary aged children, and worked to develop a community where students felt accepted and challenged to make positive life choices.
