I advise the organization on industry trends as well as outside developments that impact strategy.One such innovation is the e-health portal integrated into International SOS's global assistance infrastructure, The Enterprise Health Security Center, designed to keep employees safe during pandemics and other health incidents. The portal was developed using Iterative Development, which allows development teams to react quickly to constant user feedback. This innovative use of technology was recognized in 2017 with the FEM EMMA Award by the Forum for Expatriate Management.I have developed and delivered multiple internal “Design Thinking” and “Value Proposition Design” workshops with International SOS and lead and facilitate other workshops and webinars around safety and security for the mobile workforce and organizing around innovation.

I generated successful outcomes in a variety of leadership roles throughout this period of significant growth and internal change at International SOS, including: ►Global Marketing Transformation to encompass world-wide capabilities►North American sales organization renovation to exceed revenue targets ►Commercial Services department upgrade with new pricing and contracting structures►Creation of a consulting and information product segment for pandemic planningThe consulting and information product segment I instituted in collaboration with a team of subject matter experts resultied in multi-million dollar sales in the first year and sparked the development of an expansive portfolio of health incident services.Accomplishments in leadership roles prior to 2005:In 2000, I formed International SOS Online, a new business group within this expanding company that was focused on delivering service via the internet in support of new and existing product offerings. The business plan I conceived became profitable in under 18 months and is currently a large part of the customer base that includes 70% of Fortune 500 companies.Functioning as CIO between 2003 - 2005, I oversaw all aspects of IT globally (in over 50 countries) and facilitated information security governance with oversight for a US $20million budget and almost 100 IT professionals. I assumed the CIO role in September 2003 after spending almost two years as the Director of Business Applications. During this time, I seamlessly introduced new telecom platforms, data networking technology and vendor agreements that improved capabilities and fully overhauled global systems to minimize operating costs.

International SOS was founded in Singapore in 1985 to provide multinational companies in Asia with an international-standard of medical care for employees travelling or living overseas, and later began to provide client support for travel safety and security during major sporting events, including the Olympic Games in Sydney (2000). During this period, the company was being expanded globally and travel safety and security services were added to offerings. I was tasked with consolidating two unique brands into a single offering.I created the first professional sales & marketing group in Singapore, coordinating all levels of new business development, as well as developing and deploying a customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

RunUp Labs is an intense ten week accelerator program specifically designed for startups who aim to change the way they travel. At the end of the program, selected entrepreneurs are provided the platform to pitch their business plans to an audience of investors actively looking to invest in travel related technology.I served as both an on-site and virtual mentor for startup companies that were focused on innovating the way we as a society discover, consume and experience travel.
