I have experience in technical and programmatic roles in global health, working remotely at a global level with frequent travel to work on the ground in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) in Africa and Asia. My particular global health technical expertise includes diagnostics for infectious diseases and lab systems including point-of-care (POC) and molecular tests (PCR), antimicrobial resistance (AMR), viral hepatitis and data connectivity platforms. I have 14 years’ experience in development and commercialization of diagnostics and tests working as an individual contributor and as a team leader in international environments. I am comfortable providing technical advice and market analysis, building and leading teams, managing programs and projects, engaging in operational functions such as laboratory fit-out, establishing safety protocols and engineering controls, technical writing or working hands-on at the bench. I am also familiar with the unique constraints of early stage entities and working globally in resource limited settings.
