•Coordinated with local municipalities, NCDPW, DOT, and DEC to ensure projects were to town, county, and state regulations.•Utilized IntelliCad to create 50 + gas plans, architectural plans, and designs for commercial and residential projects to calculate sanitary, drainage, land coverage, and retaining wall calculations.•Estimated cost of up to $4,000,000 for small and large scale construction to be submitted for approval from local government.•Supervised and trained one employee in use of IntelliCAD•Managed project permit process’ from start to finish by interacting with municipalities, contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients.•Used reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical/geologic data to plan and design projects.•Developed draft reports, including erosion and sediment control narratives, stormwater management reports, and technical specifications.
