As part of the Transaction Advisory team, working closely with Partners, Directors and Managers, I had the opportunity to be a vital member in executing projects across three different work streams; valuation, transaction support and M&A advisory.

Singapore

• Conduct full range of audit for SMEs, NPOs and listed company both in Singapore and overseas
• Perform audit engagements from planning to completion, monitoring the engagement progress against budget and timeline
• Coach and train junior employees to perform independently

Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia

• Plan and execute operational audits of various business areas using risk-based audit methodology.
• Test the design and effectiveness of internal controls by completing walk-throughs of complex business processes and analysing results.
• Test various financial documents and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess companies’ compliance with financial regulation and controls.
• Stock taking of companies’ inventory to ensure existence and accuracy.

• To organise events for the wellbeing and social interaction of committee and club members.
• Liaison with external parties to ensure events are conducted and executed smoothly.
• Involved in the matters of budget and finance planning.

• Organised sports events for the members of the clubs such as the Annual Sports Carnival and friendlies against university’s and social teams.
• In-charged of managing the welfare of the athletes for BERSATU Games 2014 at Palmerston North.
• Successfully led the CMSA contingent during BERSATU Games 2014 and won second place for overall.

Christchurch, New Zealand

• Involved in the day to day operations of the store such as cashiering, customer service, drinks & housekeeping.
• Supervisor duties such as stock taking and inventory management.
• Familiarised with tea products in order to give recommendations, answer customer’s queries and aid with any dietary needs.

Kuching, Sarawak

• Assigned as a team member for audit engagements of a variety of clients.
• Learnt how to communicate and connect with clients to foster cooperation and ease audit work.
• Exposure to practical issues around audit engagements.
