As a BIM Manager, I utilize my diverse skill set to handle a range of tasks and responsibilities. My role usually begins with the initial project setup and continues with managing the virtual model throughout the entire project lifecycle. I use LiDAR scanning technology on-site to create accurate digital replicas of existing site conditions.Using Revit and AutoCAD, I create Architectural, Structural, and MEP content that enhances our design drawings and brings to life the visions developed by the engineers and architects I work with. My experience allows me to mentor, instruct, implement, and assist teams in best practices and standards. I have over 10 years’ experience in Electrical design and over 17 years’ experience in Engineering-related fields with a focus on (BIM) Building Information Modeling using Autodesk Revit Software in addition to knowledge of electrical distribution systems, fire notification systems, illumination systems utilizing point-by-point lighting software programs, data systems and other varieties of design work. I have worked on retail and commercial facilities, data centers, military facilities, medical, industrial, and K-12 & higher education schools. During the past 5 years, I have spent a significant amount of my time dedicated to Reality Capture using Leica’s RTC360 scanner and various programs to provide our teams with realistic field conditions. This has become a passion of mine. I also hold an FAA issued Remote pilots license for UAV (Drone) use to conduct aerial scanning.
