Worked with the administration to analyze previous iterations of the department's spring MCAT course, suggest and implement changes in the concepts tested and materials used, and train the instructors for the 2019 course.During the Spring 2019 MCAT class, I teach alongside a rotating graduate student (whom specializes in that day's subject), proving more MCAT-specific advice and explanations to the content and passages we work through.During the Spring 2020 MCAT class, I independently taught the classes on generating an MCAT Study Plan and the CARS (Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills) sections.

Currently working with non-coding RNA to investigate their role in neuronal reprogramming of NG2 glial cells and quantifying which genes are most upregulated in this process using qPCR.Past project was focused on immunostaining free-floating and cryostat mouse brain sections (from operating the microtome to cell counting with co-expression). Culminated in a thesis and a paper under review currently.

2018- Leading a project comparing the RNA profiles of rat, mouse and human sperm samples using novel RNA isolation techniques, RNAseq, and dimension reduction analysis. Assisting with a methotrexate toxicity study in rats, including injecting methotrexate intraperitoneally and restraining the rats. Culminated with a paper currently under review.2017- Care for and genotype generations of transgenic mice, using DNA isoloation, PCR and Agarose Gel Electrophoresis. Create a database using REDCap software to store and organize human sperm laboratory results. Assist in animal surgery.
