As a Program Coordinator at Thrive Alabama, I manage the nGage study, a project that aims to improve the health and well-being of young men living with HIV. I coordinate the recruitment, enrollment, and data collection of research participants, ensuring proper implementation of project protocols and procedures. I also conduct quality assurance activities and data analysis to monitor and evaluate the study operations and outcomes.I have a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a concentration in health behavior. I am passionate about research and treatment of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and I am driven to make a change through educational initiatives that inform individuals about their susceptibility and prevention strategies. I have over five years of experience in developing and delivering health education and promotion programs for local organizations and communities, focusing on topics such as HIV, Hepatitis C, substance misuse, and suicide prevention. I have established partnerships with schools, universities, and teen organizations to provide HIV testing and prevention sessions, and I have facilitated high-impact health behavior interventions for youth and adults. I have also collected, tested, and analyzed infection results for HIV and HEP C, and administered chronic and infectious disease education to the community.
