- Software architect in Soarian Financials Architecture team.- Play leadership role enhancing product to be time zone sensitive and to address issues with ambiguous times that arise from fall clock change. - Developed annotation based solution and associated code generator. Coordinated and reviewed the work of other designers to ensure that their contributions were consistent with the overall system design and direction. - Technologies: J2EE, J2SE, XML, HTML, JDBC, JDO, SQL, XML, UML, JUnit, OOA/OOD Scrum Master:- Responsible for new feature development for multiple teams. - My team was the first in our organization to be staffed with team members in India.- Supervised the day-to-day activities of approximately twenty people distributed across North America and India. - Responsible for streamlining processes, elimination of waste, and to mature Agile activities. - Technologies: J2EE, J2SE, XML, HTML, JDBC, SQL, UML, JUnit- Responsible for mentoring junior developers. 3i Coordinator:- Siemens' 3i program solicits improvement suggestions from staff in exchange for monetary rewards.- Led team of three responsible for soliciting and cultivating process and profitability improvement suggestions. - Team sifted through hundreds of submissions to identify ideas with the most "bang for the buck". Explained improvement suggestions to management and championed getting key improvements staffed. - Our efforts resulted in a $300,000 savings to the company.

During others I worked on a key module in our clinical product (Care Center).Revenue Management Product:- Software architect for the insurance billing module. - Required meeting with product owners and other industry experts to elicit functional requirements.- Responsible for both the high-level and detail design.- Personally coded most challenging parts of the module.- Responsible for providing technical guidance and direction to a team of six developers.- Our deliverable had functional parity with its predecessor but processing time was cut in a third.- Reduced hardware costs but distributing processing over more of the day rather than doing all processing at a given time.Clinical Product:- Lead developer for CareChart module.- Led a team of ten developers.- Responsible for high-level and detail module design.- Personally coded data access programs.- Led onsite team of five people responsible for bringing beta client live.
