The Endpoint Management team is responsible for ensuring proper configuration of all computing devices deployed by LCPS, including Windows, Chromebook, iOS, and MacOS. The Endpoint Engineer is directly responsible for all software title delivery to devices either virtually or via supported distribution methods. Works to implement new systems and make continuous enhancements to existing systems. Solves technical issues while working collaboratively with other departments in a team-first approach. Tools used in this role include Ivanti Endpoint Manager, Microsoft SCCM, Amazon Web Services, VMWare and Jamf.

Supports the delivery, use, licensing and tracking of software throughout the LCPS Enterprise. Works with Software Engineering Team to provide consistent, stable operating system platform and software environment for both Administrative and Instructional use. Assists in evaluating new software and operating systems as released and as needed. Works with other Technology support personnel to ensure solutions configured properly and performing as expected. Assists in requirements gathering and documentation of projects and new initiatives. Provides technical support to Tier I and Tier II support staff.

Maintaining and documenting a standard operating environment for the NMB supplied devices, patching and upgrading software and real time online support for remote users. Configuration and support for NMB’s LAN firewall (SonicWall) and network devices such as printers, scanners, and wifi routers. Configuration and access assistance such as helping set up email user accounts, passwords, calendars and data encryption. Second level support for software applications developed at NMB. This includes configuration and access support for users and basic code debugging with Python, and JavaScript.

• Manage a team of five desktop support technicians. • Constantly review trouble tickets to make sure new tickets have been addressed.• Review all tickets to ensure they meet the QA requirements. • Assign tickets to technicians appropriately based on the urgency of the issue and technicians current location. • Work with the Acquisitions Officer to procure any parts or loaner PCs that the technicians require. • Follow up with the user to ensure that they are satisfied with the service given.
