About Timothy D. Otten
When I was a young boy, from the earliest days I can remember, I dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot. It would have been so easy to give up on that dream; everywhere I turned there was an easier path to follow. There were more traditional and stable careers, personal relationships, and dozens of life obstacles funneling me toward one of those easier paths. Although these alternative paths presented themselves in life, my unwavering determination and perseverance enabled me to achieve my ultimate dream. Now, many years later, I have accomplished my goals and have gained extensive experience in various fields. From instructing and leading missions in the Harrier Jump Jet, to directing global operations in the largest Marine Corps aircraft wing, to managing European Political-Military Regional Affairs within the Marine Corps’ FAO/RAO program, I have faced and overcome many challenges. I have worked in environments where quick thinking and accurate first-time decisions are not just keys for success, but rather requirements for survival.I am an accomplished Director of Operations with over fifteen years of dynamic and global experience. With a background in military operations and European Regional Affairs, I possess extensive knowledge across the European continent. My professional network is vast, having worked with almost all European nations and militaries. I am skilled in leadership, operational planning, scheduling operations, and project management. I excel in operational execution, change management, and relationship development. I am always eager to explore new and innovative ideas, resolve problems, and improve processes. If you want to know more about how I can help you achieve your goals, grow your business in Europe, or simply want to hear what it's like to fly across the Atlantic in a single-seat jet, feel free to contact me.
