The ultimate goal is to create a long-term strategy to conserve 30% of the state's landscape by 2030 and 50% by 2050.•Senior Fisheries Specialist, Resonance: providing technical guidance and direction for the Walton Family Foundation Tuna Consortium Phase II program, strengthening the company's role as the Consortium secretariat to advance sustainable tuna fisheries management and resilient communities in Indonesia.•Private Sector Seascape Analysis Team Lead, USAID Heshimu Bahari Activity, Chemonics: Led in identifying high-impact private sector engagement and partnership opportunities to enhance marine biodiversity and promote climate-resilient livelihoods in vital coastal regions of Tanzania.

Highlights include:• Secured Resonance's first large foundation project with the Walton Family Foundation, a $5 million grant to coordinate Phase II of the Indonesia Tuna Consortium• Generated $400K in projects with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch over 3 years, serving as a trusted business and financial modeling advisor on global seafood improvement projects. • Cultivated partnerships with 25+ companies, foundations, governments, and non-profits to implement digital traceability systems to verify the legality and sustainability of tuna worth $20M+.• Co-authored 2 thought leadership papers on a new partnership assurance model with Seafood Watch to accelerate the verification of sustainable seafood at an area level.

Executed a partnership strategy leveraging $4 million from companies and governments to foster new technology and partnerships to secure sustainable and traceable seafood supply chains in Asia. Identified and accelerated regional technology innovators to improve the sustainability of the fisheries sector and to help improve efficiencies in processing, transporting and exporting of seafood products.• Co-designed and implemented 14 public-private partnerships that reduced illegal fishing, improved fisheries management, and ensured supply chain traceability in Southeast Asia. • Partnered with the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability and GS1 to ensure digital traceability systems met global buyer requirements and demonstrated a clear business case. • Spearheaded the formation of the Indonesian Tuna Sustainability Alliance, representing 35 seafood processors, 1000 fishing vessels and 60+ tuna brands to move towards MSC certification.• Leveraged $500K from Thai Union and Mars Petcare to pilot traceability solutions that included worker communications on fishing vessels in Thailand to ensure humane labor conditions.

Led a $10 million USAID regional food security program (MARKET) in Southeast Asia, which supported the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) to launch partnerships to improve the sustainability of food trade and increase adoption of technology in the region. Supervised a team of nine staff, seven consultants and five subcontractors across 10 countries. Regularly presented and reported program results to a range of key executives and partners including USAID leadership, ASEAN government agriculture ministers and senior managers, and company sustainability managers. Secured a nine-month extension and $1M in new investment from USAID.

Established the ASEAN Public Private Taskforce for Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture, the first regional dialogue platform in Southeast Asia to advance sustainability of these critical sectors. Engaged the U.S. Soybean Export Council to launch the first open source online aquaculture feed formulation database to build the sustainability and efficiency of the feed industry in Asia. Partnered with Seafood Watch, seafood companies and fisher groups to develop improvement tools for small-scale farms and fisheries to adopt more sustainable management practices

Managed a $25M portfolio of regional economic integration, investment and trade projects in Asia. Led proposal teams, developed budgets and drafted technical strategies that generated over $25 million in new business in Southeast Asia from 2009-2011.
