For four weeks I joined the team making a one hour BBC Horizon documentary about video games (due to be broadcast autumn/winter 2015). I worked alongside director Graham Russell to learn the invaluable skills required for television, including filming techniques and telling an interesting narrative.

On the show we had the CEO of Duolingo, Luis Von Ahn, the VP for Mozilla, Jonathan Nightingale, and the author of the book The Dark Net, Jamie Bartlett. To begin the show I made a piece answering the question “what is the internet?”, which followed the flow of information between a computer and a website. This included answers from Andrew Rice, a Cambridge-based lecturer in computer science, and Rob Coupland, the Managing Director for TelecityGroup.
