Tim Gregory serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at HRS, where he supports the CEO in leading the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) and serves as the organization’s second in command. He is responsible for providing executive leadership, driving strategic initiatives, and managing daily operations to ensure the achievement of organizational goals. The DCEO works collaboratively with the Executive Team to implement HRS's strategic plan and oversees critical functions to advance the mission, support members, and drive organizational impact. The DCEO is charged with leading the development and execution of the Society’s global, education, and meetings strategy. The position oversees and is responsible for the HRS portfolio of journals, scientific and clinical documents, annual meeting and overall event support, educational offerings, global program initiatives, and partner society relationships. With over 17 years of experience at HRS, Tim has held various roles contributing to the refinement of content development and service delivery, particularly emphasizing volunteer collaborations to enhance engagement and organizational strength.With a professional background spanning more than 30 years, Tim brings extensive expertise in education development, project management, organizational leadership, meeting planning, budget oversight, and fostering cultural improvement within teams. Prior to joining HRS in 2007, he held leadership positions at The Catholic University of America, Brailsford & Dunlavey (a facility planning consulting firm), as well as at California State University campuses and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.Tim's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Minnesota-Morris and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology/College Student Personnel Administration from James Madison University. His combination of academic knowledge and practical experience positions him well to lead the diverse and multifaceted responsibilities within his role at HRS.
