My main responsibilities include:• Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the campaign, including budget management, fundraising, communications/media, grassroots/field work, coalition outreach, and maintenance of internal campaign administration.• Drafting and executing a strategic campaign plan.• Overseeing campaign budget; creating and implementing a fundraising plan by recruiting, managing and motivating a volunteer fundraising committee.• Hiring and supervising any paid campaign staff and coordinating use of in-kind organizational staff.• Managing all contracts and maintaining regular communication with outside vendors and consultants.• Leading all campaign Executive Committee meetings and providing regular, comprehensive updates on campaign activities.• Hosting all stakeholder meetings, including but not limited to steering and subcommittee meetings, and ensuring adequate and timely communication systems are built and utilized throughout the network.• Working with legal advisers to ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances impacting the campaign, including those concerning ballot initiatives, campaign finance, and internal campaign administration.

As a Deputy State Director, I directly reported to the RNC State Director in Michigan.My main responsibilities included:• To handle the day-to-day management of Regional Field Directors and oversaw a specific turf comprised of multiple regions and counties within the state.• Took the initiative in coaching and mentoring Field Staff, as opposed to just responding to problems or overseeing reporting. This initiative means regular visits in the field, regular face-to-face meetings with the Field Staff within their regions, and regular participation with events and voter contact activities.• Acted as a two-way filter to communicate necessary statewide information to the Field Staff who communicate critical regional problems or themes across their regions.• Played a supporting role to the State Director by participating in strategy discussions, collecting and analyzing Voter Scores and modeling, and assisting in the creation of training programs and materials. Responsible for working with RNC to make sure Field Staff had the resources they need to conduct their jobs. Including expenses, payroll, technology and equipment needs, literature, collateral, and other campaign materials.• Managed the majority of day-to-day data questions from Field Staff regarding Voter Scores, volunteer prospecting, and voter contact goals.

As a Regional Field Director, I directly reported to the RNC Deputy State Director/State Director in Michigan.My main responsibilities included:• Managing field directors and metrics within my region. • Recruiting, training, and engaging with grassroots volunteers for electoral success in 2018.• Responsible for modifying and implementing the statewide field program in their assigned turfs.

As Director of Communications, I reported directly to the Executive Director of the Vermont Republican Party. My main responsibilities included:• Working closely with the Executive Director to ensure tactics for all communications and public relations messages are executed properly.• Developing, implementing, and evaluating regular communications strategies.• Generating press releases, content, and graphic designs to the Vermont Republican Party’s website, social media platforms and news distributions.• Managing the online content that engages audience segments and leads to action. Decide who, where, and when to disseminate by working closely with the Executive Director.• Maintaining and ensuring that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) is posted regularly.• Managing all media contacts and serve as on-the-record spokesperson.• Reviewing and editing written statements made by the Chairman of the Vermont Republican Party before issuing them to the public.• Overseeing the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, and the Vermont Republican Party’s website.
