As the Information and Technology team member on the NDSU Dining team I am very focused on augmenting and supporting our current processes with correct fitting solutions. I strive to provide the most understandable and accurate information based on our available data. Also, I focus on good fit for technology, our team can’t afford to struggle with technology that does not fit the process, or that does not perform as intended.Areas of Responsibility• Manage and Support Point of Sale implementations for: --- All of Dining in our multiple locations around the campus, --- A few retail and service location outside of Dining --- Utilizes Oracle Hospitality Simphony (Micros)• Support more than 40 workstations: --- Provide troubleshooting and training --- Asset Management --- Process Improvements to improve our efficient use of resources• Enable Collaboration --- Working on adoption of collaboration tools --- Working to implement a Dining Intranet for efficient information flow• Support Digital Signage Implementation• Help to technically manage our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools: --- Foodpro by Aurora Software --- CS Gold by CbordAccomplishments:• Implemented Point of Sale stations for the concessions at NDSU’s new sports arena, Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex. --- Supports multiple concession venues --- Utilizes Oracle Hospitality Simphony (Micros) augmented by Cbord’s CS Gold
