.Responsible for the control and management of all HR functions, formulates programs and procedures for recruitment, manpower development and training, wage administration, staff benefits and labour relations.

•Execute and handle the full spectrum of daily HR operations to support the business locally and regionally (Singapore, India, Korea, Abu Dhabi, Kingdom of Saudi, Nigeria, Papa New Guinea and Indonesia).•Manage payroll process for Singapore and overseas subsidiaries for a total headcount of 300.•Review HR policies periodically to ensure their relevance supports the company, and meet the local regulatory requirements.•Conduct and review the induction program for new employees.•Manage the Group employee Benefits insurance (GHS, GPA, GTL, Work Injury and Travel).•Facilitate the Annual Training Need Analysis in consultation with the Business unit manager to build competencies and meet business needs.•Leverage on internal/external training networks to improve the competency of the Engineers.•Facilitate the yearly Performance appraisal process.•Prepare annual salary budgeting and calculate man hour rate for different grades•Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to business heads.•Design and roll out Employee Opinion Poll and follow-up.•Assist to handle employee disciplinary issues and grievances.•Coach and guide HR Executive.

Merck:•Provide HR business partnering support on full spectrum HR activities to assigned business group.•Execute recruitment exercise, conduct interviews, shortlist candidates and selecting candidates according to hiring needs.•Manage payroll vendor to ensure timely & accurate processing of monthly payroll, filing of statutory contributions & /or tax clearance.•Manage the assignees’ benefits programs including accommodation, child’s education, company car and work with tax consultant on tax, social security.•Represent at career fair to increase the brand awareness of the organization.•Prepare annual budgeting for employee salary and benefits program, performance appraisal, annual increment and bonus exercise. Millipore:•Provide HR support and consultation to business, answering employee and manager questions about HR policies for Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Korea, Hong Kong and China office.•Liaise with vendor on the administration of managed healthcare program for employees. •Implement and monitor recruitment and selection activities according to the headcount. •Calculate and administer the private pension program for employees.•Participate in Mercer compensation and benefits survey.
