I currently serve as the director of human resources and recruitment for the University of Missouri System. I'm proud to lead a team that impacts the UM System enterprise by finding and hiring great people drawn to educate and serve. We drive the executive search function across all the institutions of the UM System, and partner with each university to help them achieve both shared and institutional goals. Serve as the functional lead for recruitment and retention efforts. In April of 2021, took over direct management of the University of Missouri-Columbia recruitment staff providing full-cycle recruitment services to faculty, staff and temporary vacancies. Previously served as the inaugural director of the Greater Missouri Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) leveraging recruiting expertise and higher education experience to serve the member institutions in recruiting and retaining the most diverse and excellent workforce. I also direct the non-executive recruitment efforts of the UM System through the formation of a functioning recruitment center of excellence to strategically enhance the efforts to attract and retain the best candidates. As an HR leader, I support UM System initiatives to improve the lives of faculty, staff, students, administrators, and community members of the state of Missouri.

Manage recruitment team to develop talent management strategies, process redesign, and the implementation of effective systems of recruitment. Contribute to performance management, talent acquisition, and other human capital projects for the University of Missouri. Provide recruitment services for academic and non-academic departments within the University. Develop sources and systems for recruitment, selection, affirmative-action, talent management, and exit interviews. Cultivate relationships with hiring managers and candidates while providing consultant support and services to hiring managers at the University of Missouri.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert on all Recruiter-related efforts in the Trulaske College of Business. I Assist the BCS Executive Director and Associate Dean in leading Business Career Services towards effective student advocacy while developing and retaining employer relations and supporting alumni needs.My role is to aid the students of the University of Missouri by providing them sound career advice, resume construction/revision critiques, interviewing tips, and overall career guidance as they make their way through their respective academic pursuits and parlay them into career aspirations and goals. In order to best serve our students, I must be a networked professional with countless businesses of all echelons and help bring in opportunity after opportunity for the budding graduates to grab hold of and prosper in.Regularly, I consult with employers on their hiring strategies and talent acquisition objectives for entry level candidates. Daily, I practice an ethical, deliberate approach to my endeavors, and strive to acheive my objectives and the objectives of the Trulaske College of Business and the Business Career Services Department.

Led a team of Recruiters to launch Aerotek’s regional recruiting effort for the placement of Software Engineering and IT professionals across the Midwest. Supported variety of customers’ regional business from Chicago location exclusively, and placed Engineers of all levels of experience (Entry Level to Management) in contract and permanent positions.
