Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 1999, Tim Stein has worked in a variety of clinical settings. Having found his professional passion, treating sex addiction, he pursued Certified Sex Addiction Therapist training in January 2010. Recognizing the need to address the trauma issues that accompany sex addiction, Tim also trained in Post Induction Therapy. Tim realized the need to coordinate with other CSAT/trauma therapists in order to manage his ever increasing client load as well as to more effectively work with sex addicts’ partners and families. In 2012, Tim co-founded Willow Tree Counseling, an out-patient treatment program for sex addicts, their partners, and families in Santa Rosa, California. Through Willow Tree Counseling, Tim provides treatment through group and individual therapy, as well as educational seminars and therapeutic workshops. Tim is dedicated to helping people recover from sex addiction and provides information via regular blogs about sex addiction and recovery. While he is a key member of the band’s musical backbone, by popular demand, Tim is not given a microphone.
