I develop code necessary to implement new requirements, fix existing issues, and drive system improvements. My focus is on both new product development and new functionality as well as system maintenance.My most recent client engagement involved feasibility and proof-of-concept upgrade testing for a comprehensive core upgrade. As the sole full-time Java team member, I was responsible for analyzing and modifying class code using the RAD IDE, as well as updating and deploying jar files and smoke testing the application.I also assumed responsibility for refining and enhancing our current training and on-boarding program for new software developers. This includes program redesign as well as leading a number of the newly developed modules and lesson plans. Since taking over this responsibility we have been able to reduce the program completion time by 40%. As a result, new developers are being deployed to client engagements 2 months earlier in their on-boarding.
