I worked as a contractor for CYNET providing Project Management services to HCL/Disney. I worked on the Orlando Datacenter Network Refresh effort and various other projects. I completed the Data Center Migration effort moving Disney Corp. servers, storage and applications from IBM's data center in Columbus OH. to Disney's Data Center in Kings Mountain NC. Included in the scope if this effort is moving Disney Corp. servers, storage and applications from the Disney Data center in Walt Disney World FL to Kings Mountain NC. The effort encompasses Data storage setup, data storage migrations and server / application migrations, Data Center decommissioning. We are physically re-locating the servers as well as creating new VM environments and migrating from the physical to VM environments.

Provided onsite management of multiple hardware, software, and infrastructure projects at General Dynamics Land Systems [GDLS] facilities in Sterling Heights, Michigan and other locations throughout the US. Mentored other project managers on process and quality delivery. Orchestrated major network infrastructure upgrades, including implementing MPLS and upgrading the fiber network with single-mode fiber and Cisco hardware and firewalls, at GDLS Joint Systems Manufacturing Center [JSMC] facilities in Lima, Ohio; Scranton, Pennsylvania; and Anniston, Alabama.Developed and completed an Oracle E-Business hardware infrastructure upgrade project, moving from a Sun 25K server to a Sun M9000 server. Planned and led the implementation of IT infrastructure for the new administration building, which included a new data center, at the JSMC in Lima, Ohio.Created the development environment for the Product Graphics Management [PGM] system using Right Hemisphere’s Deep Server, Deep Exploration, and Deep Publish software. Upgraded and transitioned the PGM system’s development instance to a production instance.Added a Linux/MS (5) node, dual boot server cluster system to upgrade the existing ICE LAB facility at the GDLS location in Sterling Heights, Michigan, enabling a 3D collaborative environment.
