*impacted by layoffs*Proactively sourced and identify active and passive professionals through various sourcing engines and social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram, and personal portfolio's.Recruited, interviewed, evaluated, and placed a diverse pool of engineering talent, including: Full-stack, Data Engineers/Scientist, and SWE of all levels. Met weekly and monthly recruiting metrics. Recruit/Source 20-25 jobs a week, 70-100 calls a month and a minimum of 4-5 offers extended a month. Constructed Boolean search strings to expedite focused candidate/client discovery.Increased the number of qualified candidate interviews by 15% through the implementation of sourcing candidate surveys, streamlining recruiter screens.

Worked closely with Engineering Manager’s & Core Engineering, primarily focused on recruiting backend and mobile (iOS and Android) engineers for various roles/teams in all of Snap’s US locations.Conducted 3-5 phone screens per day where I learned more about the candidate and their career goals. Experience and proficiency with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Gem CRM and Greenhouse.Partnered with Hiring Managers and Recruiters on DEI efforts and identifying pain points in the pipeline and interview process. Sent recruiting emails, and organized an effective employee referral system. Appointed by California State Attorney General Kamala D. Harris, the 18-member board was mandated by Assembly Bill 953 and is tasked with helping to eliminate racial and identity profiling in law enforcement.Assisted in the collection and aggregation of data on how law enforcement conducts traffic stops, in an effort to create comprehensive policies and best practices around situational de-escalation and public safety.Conduct and consult available evidence-based research on intentional and implicit bias and law enforcement stop, search, and seizure tactics; review and analyze stop data and citizen complaint data required by AB 953.Analyzed the data collected regarding citizen/civilian complaints, including complaints alleging racial and identity profiling that were reported to the DOJ by law enforcement in 2016.

Selected amongst a group of 12 civically engaged activists who have experience leading change in their communities. Engaged in workshops to refine my voice, build platform, and received resources/network to expand impact even further.Trained on topics such as op-ed writing, fundraising, building your personal brand, using social media to impact change, and more with partners such as GetLit, Changeist, and the Civics Center

Accessed the needs of 50 Black students and addressed them through necessary and creative methods by facilitating a ‘Black Political Debate’ which helped in strategizing.Developed external relationships, alliances, and perceptions of the Black Student Union by holding organizing bi-weekly meetings with organizations in order to strengthen connections and bonds.Managed presentation of all civil and social events such as printed material, promotional campaigns, and email lists which helped expand the awareness of actions and student involvement.

Maintained all documentation and meeting minutes/deadlines – while ensuring a constant flow of communication between board members in order to guarantee completion of a specific tasks. Prepared and documented music/performers equipment and show stand for a concert with 340 participants.Supervised technical direction, production management, risk management, lighting, sound, and stage management in addition to all facets of venue maintenance.
