A member of the R&D Lead Team responsible for establishing Industrial Design and Human Factors processes in-house through a User Centric Design Thinking Process. Responsible for the design and Human Factors testing of Capital Imaging Equipment, UX/ UI, biopsy devices and other imaging modalities per FDA HE 75 guidance. A member of the Marketing Lead Team utilizing the process of Design Thinking to gather Customer Requirements and Use Cases.• Created Industrial Design Process within the Stage Gate Development Process based on the principles of Design Thinking • Create concepts for patient positioning, technologist workflow and software interfaces across the Continuum of Care for Women’s Health.• Utilizing VR and AR to reduce cost of prototype builds by 80% for capital equipment and created IP through the virtual experience of the design concept• Identify, create and manage the execution of various research efforts including Time/Motion Studies, Heuristic Evaluations, and observational research with defined objectives within the women’s healthcare space • Identify testing methods, create User testing plans, protocols, moderate and manage Formative Studies for a variety of use cases including patient positioning, Technologist workflow, Graphical User Interface, and other patient facing and technologist focused concepts• Created interaction map of the tablet controls to review with users, marketing and collaborate with the software team to finalize all elements of interface including motion and warning modals• Create new interface tools for new user functions to reduce overall user workflow allowing the Technologist more time to work with the patient which will help reduce patient anxiety and motion within the images• Created entire icon library for a new and an existing user interface of both tablet and hardware interfaces, updating the iconography in design intent, style and color
