Herlufsholm Boarding School was founded on the 23rd of May 1565 - however the history of the place and the buildings goes back to 1135 - where the foundations was established. Today Herlufsholm is the oldest, largest and most prestigious boarding school in Denmark.As director my area of responsibility is the economy of the foundation and management of the endowment. I’m also responsible for all new constructions, renovations of the many listed building, all aspects of facility management in regards to the school as well as intangible and tangible assets hereunder also the estate, church and cemetery. I have 6 department managers in direct report and I'm responsible for 80 FTE including HR, marketing, Compliance & ESG and fundraising.
