Test Engineer
• Responsible for defining and implementing effective testing processes for transformer to meet national and international standards and customer specification.• Providing technical expertise to customers both within and outside of the organization. • Interpretation and application of customer requirements, industry standards, and design to ensure testing performed meets the level of performance and reliability requirement. • High levels of skills and expertise with Electrical Power, High Voltage Engineering techniques and/or Automated Test Systems. • Create and certify transformer test report on a timely basis and resolve technical problems during and post testing. • Review and analyses test results using statistical tools and recommend changes to engineering and manufacturing. • Use technical skills and analytical tools to troubleshoot test failure & defects and make improvement suggestions; PD acoustic diagnostic with PDIX instrumentation.• Interface with various functions within the organization or customers to review product testing results, issues, nonconformance and potential design and performance problems.
Test Technician
• Perform all required tests on transformers, Control Box, Fan motor and LTC wiring and functional test, LTC oil filter pre-test, CT Wiring, Relay Tests, Electronic and PLC based instrumentations like ETM, Gas Analyzers in accordance with established procedures and specific instructions • Documentation and calculation test data to verify test parameters and evaluate test result calculations to determine acceptability of test• Record and file test results calculations and analyzes final test reports• Move transformers, assemblies and auxiliary devices to and from test floor• Document Non-conformance and support troubleshooting activities• Create preliminary test reports• Testing of power transformer (Low voltage Tests like Ratio, Doble, Megger, HV dielectric testing like Impulse, Applied Voltage, Induce, Loss measurement, Sound Test, SFRA etc.) • Handle non conformities per procedure including documenting and segregating• Troubleshoot failure based on procedure and/or under guidance• Able to perform basic Electrical engineering calculations and able to interpret results • Demonstrate competency and participate in the continuous improvement process• Ability to communicate well with peers, Customers/inspectors, manufacturing, planning, marketing and engineering departments is important
Production Associate

Understand insert yield and scrap and link to root causes by physical examination of failed components and/or process data.·Develop new tools and equipment for quality and capacity; assist install, test, and qualify new equipment; develop and provide inputs to the team on processes to reduce scrap and rework; work directly with MPE and process/product owners to eliminate defects and improve process quality.·Focus on long-term solutions, process robustness, and sustainability while using available tools such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
