Responsible for all Financial functions, including external communication and financial market relationships, Information Systems, Distribution and Logistics, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, and Facilities Management for this $1.7 billion, 2,000-store chain of video rental stores.* Lead the Company through 18 months of leveraged buyout and merger negotiations, culminating in a successful sale to Movie Gallery.* Drove significant re-direction of Game Division strategy to speed the path to profitability and a potential sale.* Executed a comprehensive restructuring of the Company's financial organization and operations. Reduced the monthly close process from 6 weeks to 5 business days. Implemented weekly, full P&L forecasts and integrated financial plans.

Managed internal and external reporting functions, Accounting, Planning and Analysis and Direct Imports for this rapidly growing, 245-store, $3.2 billion regional department store chain.* Lead a cross-functional team to develop the Company's first comprehensive and integrated 5-year strategic plan.* Partnered with the CIO to replace the Company's entire suite of financial applications, both to facilitate growth, and respond to Y2K risks.

As Financial Controller in 1996, lead all accounting, reporting, and planning functions.
