My work focuses on space planning and architectural design of both new builds and renovations. I coordinate design and documentation with owner groups, and work with consultants to ensure a design that conforms to the clients program and expectations. I work to ensure SD, DD and CD deliverable deadlines are met, and I coordinate with project managers to ensure a quality set is delivered. I have experience in submitting drawing packages for permit in 9 of the local jurisdictions, including submitting application packages for licensing with the State Health Department. I attend OAC meetings and work with the GC's project manager and superintendent to answer RFIs and to verify that the project is being built according to approved plans and specifications. I also enjoy 3D modeling and creating renderings for client presentations. I have an interest in design technology, including virtual reality in creating high-performance buildings that can adapt to the changing needs of users.I enjoy connecting with others in the pursuit of creating meaningful designs a reality. The adaptability of architecture to changing lifestyles is important to me, as well as the subliminal psychological impacts that the built environment has on people. I am LEED accredited and look for opportunities to incorporate sustainable design principles in my projects. I embrace BIM and LEAN workflows.
