He started his career at Ford Motor Company in their college graduate leadership development program and later held positions as Vice President and Chief Information Officer in several $250M - $500M mid-sized corporations in the Charlotte NC area. Tim proudly served as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Recruited in 2005 to lead and reorganize a 50+ member, $15M+ struggling IT department. Assessed and implemented a plan to rebuild, restructure, and control costs. "Top-Graded", added, and re-organized staff and resources, replaced aging IT infrastructure, consolidated ERP systems, improved efficiencies and reduced costs in IT and media delivery. Supported 12 major and 40+ minor remote sales and service offices. Championed numerous business requested initiatives while directing all information technology resources including 3 data centers, 2 uplink facilities, 165+ servers, 20+ core databases, core and distributed networks, 228+ TB of data, support center for 1500+ desktop users worldwide, multidimensional data warehouse, and global (custom proprietary) ERP/CRM system.

Directed and executed all aspects of FordDirect's technology portfolio and infrastructure including UI designs and workflows, application coding and development, content management, server procurement and monitoring, search engine optimization, marketing support, quality assurance, and launch activities. Additional responsibilities included all scope and specification management, technology utilization, risk evaluations, project prioritizations, change control management, financial and ROI evaluations, and capital investment assessments.
