I am a Sr. Project Manager supporting a major contract with CMS. I currently manage a team of 9 software developers and testers that work from 4 different locations across the US. We follow CMMi to guide our work. Responsible for designing and articulating the technical solutions that support the operations of the project. In this role I provide technical leadership to the engineering staff.• Works with Business Development, Program Staff, Project Managers, System Architects, and Software Development groups to propose and delivery high quality, innovative, and economical technical solutions.• Participates in customer meetings and presentations to set expectations and to discuss customer responsibilities, requirements, initiatives, and concepts.• Reviews, evaluates, and incorporates customer requirements related to the system solution. • Helps to identify software project resource requirements and collaborates with functional managers of project resource commitments to meet those requirements. • Facilitates and leads work groups that typically include a wide range of specialists.• Monitors project solution development activities, evaluates the progress of functional and subcontractor delivery, and produces regular status reports. • Identifies and manages software scope changes consistent with CMMI requirements.• Keeps abreast of current and evolving industry and partner technologies.• Develop prototypes/production software in .Net and WAMP Open Source frameworks• Ensure designs effectively integrate core capabilities with new technology to successfully implement development projects
