• Led the electronics engineering team, who are responsible for the design of the hardware and printed circuit boards within SMARTs market leading products.• Used critical thinking and organizational skills to facilitate and direct product requirements review, cost/benefit analysis, architecture definition, project planning, and detailed design, followed by implementation and mass production.• Applied project management principles to create budgets, schedule and monitor progress, and communicate status throughout the project lifecycle.• Responsible for technical portion of SR&ED claims for the projects my team was assigned.• Worked closely with firmware, mechanical, and software teams to define interfaces and align schedules• Established design processes and guidelines to improve productivity and quality, and to encourage innovation.
