Network engineering, integration, monitoring and troubleshooting. I was the principal engineer at Agena Bioscience for LANSolutions, LLC. Agena Bioscience recently became a separate company from Sequenom. I was a key player on the LANSolutions team at cutover time in November of 2014. We integrated most of their systems into our co-location facility and created a private cloud. The task of separating their systems from a major international company like Sequenom and meeting the on-going demands required to provide the same level of service they were used to from a full, in-house, IT department to an outsourced third party was not easy or routine. Agena Bioscience has corporate headquarters in San Diego and offices in Brisbane, Hamburg, Tokyo and Shanghai with field engineers and representatives worldwide. Agena Bioscience (formerly Sequenom Bioscience) enables clinical, translational, and life-science research laboratories to perform high throughput targeted & multiplexed genetic analysis in fields such as cancer, pharmacogenomics, companion diagnostics, transfusion medicine, hereditary disorders, and agricultural genomics.
