Dr. Tim Rawlings has built a name for himself as a leader in practice transitions and practice sales in Texas. He has gained a unique perspective from being a former dentist who navigated through the sale of his own practice and experienced the process firsthand. Tim draws on that perspective to assist his clients and there are hundreds of doctors he has successfully helped through the transition process.Tim knew from a young age that dentistry was for him because it was a blend of technical skill and helping people maintain their health. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry before going on to open his own dental practice in Scottsdale Arizona. After building a successful practice and loyal patient base over 25 years, he transitioned out of his practice.As is the case with all transitioning dentists, Tim looked toward the future and considered what was next. It was clear to him from his experience that there was an enormous need in helping practitioners navigating through both a transition and the twilight stages of their career. Having just sold his practice, Tim understood how grueling the process could be and appreciate how relieving it is to walk through a transition with a professional who understands the emotional and mental strain that it can be.Tim pursued his goal to assist other dentists by heavily training in the various aspects of practice transitions. His extensive knowledge includes advanced understanding of the various available structures, the process of appraising a practice, the counseling and advising throughout the process, as well as the legal understanding needed to help the seller work efficiently with a lawyer. He has since raised his skill and insight to an expert level from guiding scores of practitioners through the process of transitioning and selling a dental practice.
