Tim has over 25 years’ experience within Transport, IT and corporate governance.Initially working in the public sector, he now runs RTIG which is a community organisation for public transport technology stakeholders, is the BSI’s representative to CEN for on bus equipment and location data (SIRI) standards; and works as an independent consultant.His particular niche-expertise is in improving public transport information. He has been involved in the development and improvement of passenger information through policy development and practical initiatives such as traveline, smart ticketing systems and bus real time information across large parts of the country.He has the proven ability to develop and deliver innovative and large scale transport technology projects with the involvement of multiple stakeholders. He is focused on using technology to improve delivery of customer information and business objectives, through better management and operational effectiveness.Tim has focused on the delivery of projects to support the development, governance and operational effectiveness of the public transport.
