Was instrumental in leading the interpretation and implementation of the National protocols for commercialisation of publicly funded research underpinning 11 of the 12 Science Foundation Ireland (SFI)-funded research centres and four Enterprise Ireland/IDA-funded Technology Centres and their collaborative agreements with industry. The University achieved the highest number of technology licenses in its history and was ranked #1 Irish University for industry collaboration, contract research and consultancy and for invention disclosures.
