I have been involved with planning this event since shortly after its inception by London playwright and songwriter, Novelle Williams.I have a wide range of activities: digital marketing, event planning, financial budget analysis, team communications, fund-raising ...The festival will have its launch in Dec 2022, with some preliminary theater workshops in Oct-Nov for talented Antiguan youths.

I have worked with the owner since the beginning of 2012 in two different sportfishing and yacht charter businesses, and in his own retail and adventure tour company, Paddle Panama, which focuses on the 'paddle sports' - kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and surfing.Hennie has run guided kayak fishing tours in Panama since he founded Paddle Panama and now I have taken a more active role in promoting these.Panama has great fishing, and warm water that is comfortable all day without clothing. The Panamanians are friendly people and it is quite a safe place for travelers.We visit beautiful and very remote fishing spots that have an extremely low human impact on the environment. These are truly 'wilderness frontiers' of the ocean.My work here includes: websites development; technical SEO; SEO keyword research and SERP tracking; SEO content creation; graphic design; photography; video production; video motion graphics; Facebook Messenger chatbots; CRM and email marketing; advertising campaign management; ad content creation; social media content creation and publishing; content syndication; community management; marketing automation; traditional marketing and direct sales; booking management; ... there's probably more - and I intend to expand into guiding some of the tours, plus developing new tour offerings. Safety Officer in heavy marine construction, building Berth 10 at the port. There were up to 300 construction staff. On monday mornings I would conduct the safety meeting in Spanish to the full staff with a lecture on the week's chosen safety topic.One of the courses I took here was in being a crane rigger, and I have a 3 year 'license' as an 'aparejador'. Knowledge of safe practices for lifting, the weight limits of the cranes, and checking the condition and weight capacity of cable links were all part of the job.I kept the workgroup of 18 computers running with two subnets with varying limits of access. I rebuilt the 'network' every time we relocated our field offices. I wrote monthly reports for the investors and top management in Hong Kong and for part of the time I wrote the daily engineering reports.

Nuevocastillo, based in Newcastle, is a band group playing folkloric Afro-Cuban Cuban music. I founded and directed this group, which grew to a full sized Afro-Cuban ensemble of six percussionists ,vocal harmonies and dancers.I was recently trying to remember managerial experiences for a job application and someone pointed out that this was one of my biggest mangerial jobs. Coordinating and directing a dozen individuals, arranging the music, teaching or demonstrating the parts, promotion for gigs and educational work, logistics, creating and curating digital assets - audio, video and websites.I taught music and performing arts in schools and workshops for community groups and commercial and establishment organisations for many years, and with a variety of partners: other percussionists, singers, dancers, rap poets, actors, film makers . . .
