Tim Powell brings a unique combination of 17 years of facilitation excellence with 15 years of leadership experiences into his engagements. As a facilitator, Tim started his journey in sales training. His human approach to leading classrooms quickly established Tim as a trusted learning partner, and Tim enjoyed increasing responsibility in his role at a Fortune 15 company. From sales training, Tim took on leadership workshops, including topics such as sales coaching, communication skills, and delivering effective presentations. Earning his Franklin Covey certification, Tim continued to grow, adding 7 Habits for Effective People, The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity, Presentation and Writing Advantage to his repertoire. One of Tim's highlights was leading The Leadership Journey, a 12-month leadership program that engaged over 1,100 leaders across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Tim was promoted into a Leadership Consultant position and began supporting leaders across the entire organization. Facilitating key leadership topics such as delegation, feedback, resilience, building trust, and fostering culture, Tim became a sought after facilitator due to his comfortable "fireside chat" style. This reputation led to his involvement with several company-wide leadership development initiatives- Pre Leader Academy, New Leader Program, Multiply Your Leadership, and Women of World. Tim was named Master Trainer for The Achieve System and was responsible for certifying over 300 trainers and leaders in L&D. The Achieve System became ingrained into the company culture, and to date over 600 unique workshops have been conducted, driving employee engagement to improve over 30%. All of Tim's facilitation experience is backed by 15 years as a sales leader in retail, including 7 years in a multiple location leader role. Working in the video game retail world, Tim led his district to consistent year over year growth, and was repeatedly named a leading performer. Tim is experienced in sales coaching, delegation, marketing, communication, and operations. Tim holds a Master of Science degree in Instructional Design and Technology. He is a certified Gallup Clifton Strengths coach. Tim is also certified in CTT+, Franklin Covey, DiSC, Achieve Institute, and Fierce.
