Development Lead on the Guardrails Editor project. The product is used by pharmacists/nurses to provide drug related configuration information for infusion devices. This information is then used by the infusion device to assist caregivers in programming drug infusions that are being used on patients. • Development Team Lead for a team of 6 developers. • Designed and developed multiple versions of the Guardrails Editor application. From the WTL/COM based version used for Signature Edition Infusion Devices to the latest C#/Win Forms version in use with the latest Medley Infusion Devices. • Early versions of the application were implemented using COM, WTL, ADO and MS SQL Server Express. • Later versions of the application have been implemented using C# & Winforms (no database used). • Developed the reporting sub-system to generate Microsoft Word compatible RTF reports and Excel based Spreadsheet ML reports. • Developer advocate on the process teams in order to better streamline the various development processes within the Cardinal Health development team. (Scrum Mentor, Kaizen Lead) • Trained the team on the basics of unit testing and using Test Driven Development (TDD) to improve the resilience and reliability of the products.

The COM objects accessed SQL server using Microsoft’s ADO library. • Implemented a system for providing ERP integration to the Bexcom ITC product. This integration was provided through COM objects processing incoming messages stored in message queues and routing them appropriately. • Implemented a document transportation system for transmitting documents from one Bexcom ITC to an other. • Created a program in Perl that used HTTP to stress test the ITC web servers.
