    Thesis Title: Designing Payments for Avoided Deforestation - Theoretical and Experimental Insights for the Case of Cattle Driven Deforestation in Brazil– Implemented experiment on payment design for emission reductions from deforestation on tablets with ~400 cattle ranch stakeholders in Brazil in cooperation with an NGO, Universities and governmental agents.– Developed and method of interactive computer simulation for training and experimental research.– Acquired 250k EUR and lead a work package in an EU-FP7 multi-stakeholder research project and lead a work package with four scientific collaborators in Berlin and Zurich.– Managed survey of ~1’000 households in rural Kenya on charcoal production and use for research on a REDD+ offset project.
